  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then stir in the sugar until combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then add the vanilla extract.
  4. Sprinkle in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder, stirring until just combined.
  5. Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of creamy peanut butter on top of the batter and swirl it gently with a knife.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are set and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Let the brownies cool in the pan, then cut into squares and serve warm.
