  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., Swiss or cheddar)
  • 1 cup cooked vegetables (e.g., spinach, bell peppers, or mushrooms)
  • 1/2 cup diced cooked ham or bacon (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a pie dish with the pie crust and prick the bottom with a fork. Pre-bake for 10 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  4. Spread the cooked vegetables and meat (if using) evenly over the crust.
