A delightful treat that combines creamy, rich cream cheese with sweet, juicy strawberries and a light, fluffy batter.

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish to ensure your cobbler comes out easily after baking.
  2. Cream softened cream cheese and sugar in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl; mix until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter over the cream cheese layer, covering it evenly.
  6. Scatter the sliced strawberries evenly on top of the batter.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden and set.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.
