A delightful twist on classic banana bread featuring fresh raspberries and rich dark chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Combine the melted butter into the mashed bananas until mixed.
  4. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix.
  5. Measure in baking soda and salt, stirring well.
  6. Mix in the flour until just combined.
  7. Incorporate raspberries and dark chocolate chips gently.
  8. Prepare the loaf pan by pouring in the batter.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then on a wire rack.

Notes

Serve with butter or whipped cream. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
