A comforting creamy pasta dish that pairs well with a crisp salad or garlic bread, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 300g pasta of your choice (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 100g grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant—be careful not to burn it!
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt and create a luscious sauce.
  4. Add the cooked pasta into the skillet, tossing it with the cream sauce. If it seems too thick, gradually mix in some reserved pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.
  5. Taste your dish and season with salt and pepper as needed. Give it one last toss to ensure every strand of pasta is coated in that creamy goodness.
  6. Transfer the pasta to a serving dish, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, and serve immediately while it’s warm and inviting.

Notes

This creamy pasta pairs beautifully with a crisp Caesar salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
