A delightful blend of gooey peanut butter and rich chocolate in soft, chewy cookies.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, and egg until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture and mix until combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set and cookies are puffed.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

Don’t overbake, as cookies will continue to set while cooling. Feel free to experiment with mix-ins.
