A warm bowl of Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles with a glossy, sweet and salty sauce that clings to perfectly cooked noodles.

Ingredients

  • 200g chicken breast, sliced
  • 200g egg noodles
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, and cornstarch to create a sticky sauce.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced chicken to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through.
  5. Add the sliced bell pepper to the pan and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until just tender.
  6. Pour the sticky sauce over the chicken and bell pepper, stirring to combine everything evenly.
  7. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss everything together until well coated in that luxurious sauce.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions for a pop of color and fresh flavor.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a pan over medium-low heat, adding a splash of water or sesame oil if needed.
