A quick and delicious meal featuring tender chicken, savory garlic, and sticky noodles in a sweet and salty sauce.

Ingredients

  • 200g egg noodles
  • 500g chicken breast, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Spring onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Combine the soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic in a bowl, stirring until blended.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and add the sliced chicken. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and stir to coat. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Add the cooked noodles into the pan with the chicken and sauce. Toss until everything is well combined.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil, mix one last time, and serve hot, topped with spring onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat with a splash of water or soy sauce.
