A simple and delightful dessert that combines creamy cheesecake with tart strawberry pie filling, all cradled in a soft vanilla cake crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1 can (15 oz) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly on the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling and spread evenly.
  5. Generously sprinkle the dry cake mix over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Pairs well with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
