  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface, cutting it into rectangles—about 4×6 inches.
  3. Mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each pastry rectangle.
  5. Top with the sliced strawberries.
  6. Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling and seal well.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
