Delightful twists of chicken and mango wrapped in flaky pastry, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 ripe mango, pureed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Green onions, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Create the glaze by mixing the mango puree, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic.
  3. Cook the sliced chicken in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, then pour the glaze over and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough tightly around the chicken mixture.
  6. Place the rolled dough on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

You can make the mango glaze a day in advance and store it in the fridge. Leftover twists can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
