Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup nuts (such as almonds or walnuts), chopped
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil or coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dried fruit (such as cranberries or raisins)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the rolled oats, chopped nuts, salt, and vanilla extract in a large bowl.
  3. Mix together the honey (or maple syrup) and oil in a separate bowl.
  4. Pour the liquid mixture over the oat mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool, then mix in the dried fruit.
  8. Store in an airtight container to keep the granola fresh.
