A comforting and creamy Tuna Noodle Casserole, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of tuna, drained
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, frozen peas, milk, and the cooked noodles. Mix well.
  4. Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Top the casserole with the remaining cheddar cheese and sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the top is golden.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Drain the tuna thoroughly to prevent excess moisture, and consider adding spices like garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor.
