  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Mix in the butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth.
  4. Divide the batter equally between the prepared pans.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
  7. Whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  8. Assemble the cake: Place one cake layer on a serving plate, add sliced strawberries, and top with whipped cream.
  9. Repeat layering with the second cake layer, strawberries, and whipped cream.
  10. Serve and enjoy every bite!
