A homemade Worcestershire sauce infused with white wine, adding tangy, sweet, and spicy notes to elevate any dish.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp ground mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Combine Liquid Ingredients: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the white wine, apple cider vinegar, and soy sauce.
  2. Add the Sweetness: Stir in the sugar to balance the acidity.
  3. Spice It Up: Sprinkle in the ground mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, ground cloves, and salt.
  4. Simmer and Thicken: Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 10-15 minutes.
  5. Cool and Store: Remove from heat, let cool, and transfer to a bottle.
