  • 3 small onions
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil spray for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Soak the small onions in buttermilk for about 30 minutes.
  3. Mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Remove the onions from the buttermilk and coat each onion in the flour mixture.
  5. Spray the coated onions with oil spray.
  6. Place the onions in the air fryer basket and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through.
  7. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
