  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  2. Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  4. Drain and dry the potatoes thoroughly using paper towels.
  5. Toss the fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings.
  6. Arrange the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  8. Serve the fries immediately while they’re hot and crispy.

Notes

Soaking the potatoes is crucial for achieving crispy fries. Experiment with different seasonings for variety.
