Tender chicken tenders coated in a sticky honey garlic glaze, air-fried to golden perfection for a healthier take on a classic dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

Instructions

  1. Create the Sweet Garlic Mixture: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, melted butter, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Coat the Chicken Tenders: In a large bowl, toss the chicken tenders with half of the honey garlic mixture until they are well coated.
  3. Dredge the Tenders: Take each coated chicken tender and dredge it in breadcrumbs until fully covered.
  4. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Arrange and Spray: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the breaded tenders in a single layer.
  6. Cook to Perfection: Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
  7. Final Touch of Honey Garlic Delight: Drizzle the remaining honey garlic mixture over the cooked tenders before serving.

Notes

For an extra crispy texture, use panko breadcrumbs. If preferred, marinate the chicken in the honey garlic mixture for deeper flavor.
