  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the cake mix package instructions. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Mix the cake mix, eggs, and water in a large bowl until well combined and smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake according to the package instructions.
  4. Once baked, let the cake cool completely in the pan.
  5. Spread a layer of whipped topping evenly over the cooled cake.
  6. Arrange the strawberries in rows for the red stripes and place the blueberries in the top left corner for the stars.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
