A delightful sandwich combining creamy goat cheese, crisp apple slices, and honey in a buttery croissant.

  • 1/2 apple, thinly sliced (a crisp variety like Fuji or Honeycrisp)
  • 2 oz goat cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh arugula or spinach (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) if you prefer a warm sandwich.
  2. Slice the croissant in half, creating a delightful pocket for all the ingredients.
  3. Spread the softened goat cheese on the bottom half of the croissant.
  4. Layer the thinly sliced apples on top of the cheese.
  5. Drizzle honey over the apples and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Add a handful of fresh arugula or spinach for extra freshness (optional).
  7. Place the top half of the croissant on the sandwich.
  8. Warm the sandwich in the oven for about 5-10 minutes until warmed through.
