A delightful and healthy snack that blends crunchy apples with a sweet coconut and nut butter mixture, topped with chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1 Apple (Honeycrisp or Pink Lady)
  • â…“ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 3 Tablespoons almond butter or cashew butter
  • ½ Tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 Tablespoon chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Slice and core the apple into ¼-inch thick slices.
  2. Mix together the shredded coconut, almond butter, and maple syrup until combined.
  3. Place a dollop of the coconut mixture on each apple slice and press down.
  4. Melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
  5. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the apple slices and chill in the freezer.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For nut-free, use sunflower butter.
