  • 1 ripe mango, pureed
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg roll wrappers
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Create the Flavorful Mango Glaze: In a bowl, mix together the mango puree, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, minced ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Take the chicken strips and immerse them in the mango glaze. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken strips for about 5-7 minutes, or until cooked through.
  4. Cool and Prepare: Allow the chicken to cool slightly before wrapping it in egg roll wrappers.
  5. Wrap the Chicken Strips: Lay chicken strips on an egg roll wrapper, fold the edges over, and seal with water.
  6. Fry the Twists: Deep fry the wrapped chicken twists in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Drain and Garnish: Remove the twists and drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
  8. Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm with extra mango glaze or soy sauce for dipping.
