A simple yet flavorful breakfast dish that offers endless customization with toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (optional)
  • Lemon juice (optional)
  • Toppings of choice (e.g., cherry tomatoes, radishes, feta cheese, egg, everything bagel seasoning)

Instructions

  1. Toast the slices of bread until golden brown.
  2. Mash the avocado with a fork, adding salt, pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice to taste.
  3. Spread the mashed avocado evenly on the toasted bread.
  4. Add your choice of toppings such as sliced cherry tomatoes, radishes, crumbled feta cheese, or a poached egg.
  5. Sprinkle with additional seasoning if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Enjoy fresh, but can store leftover avocado spread for up to one day in the fridge.
