Delicious baked broccoli cheese balls that are crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside, perfect for snacks or appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Steam the broccoli florets until tender, about 4-5 minutes, then chop finely.
  3. Combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm as a snack or appetizer.

Notes

For crispier bites, consider using panko breadcrumbs. Adjust the cheese for different flavors, and chop the broccoli finely for better consistency.
