Delight in the warm, cinnamon-sugar-dusted goodness of these baked churro bites—a guilt-free twist on a classic treat!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Cinnamon Sugar Mixture
  • 1 can Vegetable Oil Spray
  • Butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Combine the ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat until simmering.
  2. Add the all-purpose flour at once, stirring vigorously until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cool the dough for approximately 10 minutes and then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each.
  5. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Pipe 3-4 inch strips of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
  7. Spray the piped churros lightly with vegetable oil.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and set aside in the oven.
  9. Brush with melted butter and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  10. Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
