  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Whisk in flour, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Whisk in milk gradually, bringing to a simmer until thickened.
  6. Add cheeses and stir until melted.
  7. Combine cooked macaroni with cheese sauce.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish, top with breadcrumbs, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Use freshly grated cheese for the best results. For extra creaminess, consider adding cream cheese to the sauce.
