Warm and cozy baked oats, perfect for chilly mornings, filled with vanilla and maple flavors, and adaptable with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk (or milk alternative)
  • 1/2 banana (mashed)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Toppings of choice (e.g., berries, nuts, chocolate chips)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the rolled oats, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Combine the milk, mashed banana, maple syrup or honey, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and add your desired toppings.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden.
  7. Let the baked oats cool slightly before serving.

Notes
