Ingredients
Scale
2 medium-sized zucchinis
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to prepare for baking the zucchini fries.
Wash and dry the zucchinis thoroughly. Cut off both ends and slice each zucchini into thin spear-like sticks resembling fries.
Combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl. Mix until evenly blended to enhance the flavors.
Drizzle the zucchini spears with olive oil in a separate bowl and toss to ensure each piece is lightly coated.
Dip each oiled zucchini spear into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently so the coating sticks well on all sides.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the coated zucchini fries in a single layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway to achieve an even golden brown and crispy texture.
Notes
These fries are best served hot from the oven with your favorite dipping sauce.
