A timeless banana bread recipe that transforms ripe bananas into a deliciously moist loaf, perfect for any occasion.

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth, then stir in the melted butter.
  3. Combine the baking soda and a pinch of salt, then mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in the flour until just incorporated.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes.
  6. Cool the bread in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
