A simple banana bread recipe that transforms ripe bananas into a warm, moist loaf perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
  5. Add the sugar to the mixture.
  6. Next, add the beaten egg and vanilla extract.
  7. Stir in the flour until just incorporated.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes.
  9. Let it cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for best results. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
