A delightful blend of soft bananas and chewy oats, perfect for cookies lovers and a healthy snack.

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the rolled oats, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips or any mix-ins you desire.
  5. Drop generous spoonfuls of the cookie batter onto a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden and set.
  7. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For an extra texture twist, try adding a tablespoon of nut butter to the batter.
