Ingredients

  • Broccoli florets
  • Rice
  • All-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • Cornstarch
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Plant-based milk
  • Sweet chili sauce
  • Soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • Sriracha
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Coat the broccoli florets in plant-based milk, then roll them in the flour mixture.
  4. Place the coated broccoli in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10-12 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
  5. Mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce (or tamari), and sriracha in a separate bowl to make the bang bang sauce.
  6. Serve the cooked broccoli over rice, drizzling the bang bang sauce on top.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For best crispiness, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Adjust sriracha according to spice preference.
