Crispy, golden shrimp coated in a creamy, spicy sauce that teases your taste buds.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Oil for frying
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the coating: In a bowl, combine cornstarch, flour, salt, and pepper. Toss the shrimp in this mixture until coated.
  2. Heat the oil: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat until ready for frying.
  3. Fry the shrimp: Fry the shrimp in batches until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Make the sauce: In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice until well combined.
  5. Toss and garnish: Toss the fried shrimp in the sauce until well coated. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For a lighter version, try baking the shrimp at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes instead.
