Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns
  • Coleslaw (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the slow cooker.
  2. Season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper.
  3. Layer the onions and garlic over the seasoned pork shoulder.
  4. Pour the BBQ sauce over the pork.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and let it cook on low for 8 hours.
  6. Shred the pork using two forks until tender and mixed with sauce.
  7. Serve the pulled pork on burger buns, topped with coleslaw if desired.
