Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef by combining sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch, and letting it sit for about 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove and set aside.

  4. Include the broccoli with a splash of water, cover, and steam for about 2-3 minutes until tender.
  5. Return the beef to the pan, stir to combine, and cook for another minute. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a dash of sesame oil to the marinade. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
