A quick and delicious one pan recipe for Chinese Beef and Broccoli, recreating the nostalgic take-out favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (sliced thin, like flank steak)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef in a bowl with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Sauté the garlic and ginger in sesame oil over medium heat for about 30 seconds.
  3. Brown the marinated beef in the pan until cooked through, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir-fry the broccoli florets for about 5 minutes, until tender-crisp.
  5. Serve hot over cooked rice and enjoy!
