A comforting and savory Beef and Broccoli dish that’s quick to prepare and full of flavor. Perfect for weeknight dinners!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly, such as flank steak)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • Cooked rice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef in a bowl with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the hot oil, sauté for about 30 seconds.
  4. Cook the marinated beef in the skillet until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add broccoli florets and a splash of water to the skillet, stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate beef overnight. Substitute oyster sauce with additional soy sauce and sugar if needed.
