A comforting beef and broccoli dish that brings nostalgia and warmth to your table.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef in a bowl with cornstarch, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and add the minced garlic, stir-frying for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the pan and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir-fry broccoli florets in the skillet for another 3-5 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  5. Combine everything with oyster sauce and stir for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles, draped in that glossy sauce.

Notes

Slice the beef against the grain for tenderness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
