Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl and whisk until blended.
  3. Prepare the wet ingredients by whisking together eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Grease the waffle iron with cooking spray or oil.
  6. Pour the batter into the center of the preheated waffle iron and close the lid.
  7. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the waffles are golden brown and crispy.
