Delightful protein balls that combine the nostalgic taste of cake batter with the nutritional benefits of protein, perfect for a healthy snack or post-workout treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup protein powder (vanilla or cake batter flavor)
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup nut butter (peanut or almond)
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 23 tbsp milk (dairy or non-dairy)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the protein powder and almond flour until well blended.
  2. Add in the honey or maple syrup, nut butter, and vanilla extract. Mix everything together until smooth.
  3. If the mixture feels too dry, add milk one tablespoon at a time until you reach the right consistency.
  4. Gently fold in the sprinkles.
  5. Grab your mixture and roll small balls, about an inch wide, placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Refrigerate your protein balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Once they’ve set, enjoy these marvelous bites!

Notes

For a vegan alternative, opt for maple syrup and almond butter. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
