Delicious blackened salmon tacos topped with avocado, red cabbage, and sour cream, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Lime wedges for serving
  • Cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Coat the salmon fillets with blackening seasoning on both sides.
  3. Place the seasoned salmon in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove the salmon from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
  5. Warm the tortillas in the same skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Flake the salmon into bite-sized pieces using a fork.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing salmon, avocado, and shredded cabbage on each tortilla.
  8. Drizzle with sour cream.
  9. Garnish with cilantro and serve with lime wedges.

Notes

For an extra kick, add hot sauce to the sour cream or jalapeños to the tacos.
