A delightful casserole that combines buttery croissants, creamy cheese, and sweet blueberries, perfect for brunch or cozy mornings.

  • 4 large croissants, torn into pieces
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Butter for greasing the dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Prepare the cream cheese by mixing it until smooth.
  4. Layer the torn croissant pieces in the greased baking dish.
  5. Add dollops of cream cheese mixture and blueberries; repeat layers.
  6. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissant layers.
  7. Press down gently on the croissant layers to soak up the custard.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
  9. Serve warm, optionally drizzled with blueberry sauce.
