A comforting and flavorful Bourbon Chicken dish, perfect for busy weeknights and gatherings, combining tender chicken thighs with a sweet and smoky bourbon sauce.

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Brown the chicken thighs in the skillet until nicely browned, stirring occasionally.
  3. Whisk together the bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a separate bowl.
  4. Combine the bourbon mixture with the browned chicken in the skillet, stirring well.
  5. Simmer the mixture gently for 15-20 minutes until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Plate the Bourbon Chicken over rice and garnish with sliced green onions.

Notes
