A delightful mash-up of biscuits and sausage gravy with fluffy scrambled eggs on a crispy pizza crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (16 oz) breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk, divided
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
  • 1 pre-baked pizza crust (12-inch)
  • Cooking spray
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk (for eggs)
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (or more, as desired)
  • Crispy fried onions for topping

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up with a spatula until fully browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess grease if necessary.
  2. Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage, stirring to coat evenly. Gradually add 2 cups of milk, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens, about 10 minutes. Season with black pepper to taste, then set aside.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the pre-baked pizza crust on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil if desired.
  4. Spread half of the sausage gravy evenly over the pizza crust.
  5. Whisk together the eggs and 1/4 cup of milk in a medium bowl.
  6. Scramble the egg mixture in a skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes until just set but still soft.
  7. Spread the scrambled eggs evenly over the gravy-covered crust and top generously with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Sprinkle crispy fried onions on top for added crunch, then slice and serve warm!

Notes

Great to serve with a side of fresh fruit or a mimosa for an indulgent breakfast.
