A comforting dish featuring chicken, broccoli, and melted cheddar cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup broccoli, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the chicken in a skillet with olive oil, seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, for about 5 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Prepare the base by combining cream of chicken soup and chicken broth in a baking dish, then stir in the chopped broccoli.
  4. Assemble the dish by placing the browned chicken breasts on top of the creamy broccoli mixture.
  5. Add shredded cheddar cheese on top of the chicken.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
