  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until it turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma. Allow it to cool slightly.
  3. Combine the brown butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips, distributing them evenly throughout the dough.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each scoop.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
