A healthier twist on classic buffalo wings, this Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower is crispy, spicy, and perfect for game days or cozy gatherings.

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower – cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter – melted
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cauliflower by cutting it into uniform bite-sized florets.
  2. Make the batter by whisking together flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Coat the cauliflower florets in the batter, ensuring they are fully covered.
  4. Air fry the cauliflower in a preheated air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Prepare the buffalo sauce by mixing it with melted butter in a small bowl.
  6. Toss the cooked cauliflower in the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
  7. Serve the buffalo cauliflower immediately with your favorite dipping sauce and celery sticks.

Notes

For a lighter batter, use oat flour and sparkling water. Adjust buffalo sauce levels based on heat preference.
