Crispy, spicy, and plant-based Buffalo Cauliflower Wings that deliver all the flavor of traditional wings without the guilt.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Celery sticks (for serving)
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) to create the ideal environment for crispy goodness.
  2. Combine all-purpose flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt in a large mixing bowl until a smooth batter forms.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret in the batter, shake off excess, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the florets are golden and starting to crisp.
  5. Stir together buffalo sauce and melted butter in a bowl to add richness.
  6. Toss each baked floret in the buffalo sauce mixture until well coated.
  7. Return the coated cauliflower to the oven for an additional 15-20 minutes for extra crispiness.
  8. Serve hot with celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider a double coat of batter and experiment with the heat level of the buffalo sauce according to your preference. Make it gluten-free by using a gluten-free flour blend.
