Ingredients

  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. Blend in the sweetened condensed milk and peppermint extract until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Add food coloring if desired, mixing until uniform.
  4. Shape the dough into small balls and place on parchment-lined sheet.
  5. Flatten each ball slightly with a fork or fingers.
  6. Dry the mints at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours until firm.

Notes
