A flavorful twist on traditional boiled eggs, enhanced with a spicy garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs in a pot of boiling water for 9-12 minutes based on desired doneness.
  2. Cool the eggs in an ice bath to stop the cooking process and make peeling easier.
  3. Sauté the garlic in melted butter over medium heat until fragrant.
  4. Stir in Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper; cook for another minute.
  5. Add lemon juice to the skillet, balancing the richness of the butter.
  6. Prepare the cooled eggs by peeling and slicing them in half.
  7. Drizzle the spicy garlic butter sauce over the eggs and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a milder version, start with half the amount of Cajun seasoning and adjust to taste.
